Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [Rosh’s full name or business name] (“Rosh”, “I”, “me” or “my”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit [website address] (the “Website”) or contact me about my services. I am a freelance website designer and developer offering website design, website development (WordPress, Shopify and Squarespace), white-label services for agencies and on-page SEO.

I respect your privacy and only collect the information I need to reply to you, provide my services and keep this Website running well. By using this Website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information I Collect

I collect information in three ways:

a) Information you give me directly. When you fill in a form on this Website (such as the contact form, the free SEO audit form or the white-label partnership form), book a call, send me an email or hire me, you may share:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your company or business name
  • Your website address (URL)
  • The service you are interested in
  • Your message and any project details, files or content you send me
  • Billing details needed to send invoices (payments are handled by third-party payment providers, see section 6)

    b) Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, some technical information may be collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages, the website that sent you here and general location (city or country level).

    c) Cookies and similar technologies. The Website may use cookies to make the site work properly, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use the site. See section 5 for more details.

I do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health, religious or financial account details) through this Website. Please do not send this type of information through the forms.

2. How I Use Your Information

I use your information only for clear, everyday business reasons:

  • To reply to your messages, questions and quote requests
  • To prepare proposals, quotes and free SEO audits
  • To plan, design, build, launch and support your website project
  • To send invoices, project updates and important service messages
  • To work with agency partners on white-label projects
  • To improve the Website, its content and its performance
  • To keep the Website safe and prevent spam, fraud or misuse
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting duties

I will only send you marketing emails (for example, a newsletter or special offers) if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting me.

3. Legal Basis for Using Your Information

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or another region with similar laws, I rely on these legal reasons to use your information:

  • Contract: to provide services you asked for, or to take steps before entering a contract (like sending a quote).
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve my business and Website, reply to messages and keep the Website secure, in a way that does not override your rights.
  • Consent: for optional cookies and marketing emails. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to keep records required by tax and accounting laws.

    4. Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This Website may use:

  • Essential cookies: needed for the Website and forms to work. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies: tools such as Google Analytics. Microsoft Clarity helps me understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are most popular. This information is grouped and does not directly identify you.
  • Security cookies: tools such as Google reCAPTCHA help protect the forms from spam and bots.

Where the law requires it, non-essential cookies are only used after you agree through the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block some cookies, parts of the Website may not work as expected.

5. Who I Share Your Information With

I never sell or rent your personal information. I only share it with trusted service providers who help me run my business, and only as much as they need to do their job. These may include:

  • Website hosting provider: Hostinger
  • Website platform and plugins: WordPress and related plugins (for example, form and security plugins)
  • Email and communication tools: Google Workspace / Gmail, Slack, Zoom
  • Project management tools: Trello, ClickUp, Notion, Asana depending on a type of Project
  • Payment and invoicing providers: PayPal, Wise, bank transfer
  • Analytics and security services: Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, Microsoft Clarity
  • Accountants or legal advisors, when needed

For white-label projects, I may receive client information from an agency partner. I only use that information to complete the project for the agency and keep it confidential.

I may also share information if the law requires it, to protect my rights or safety, or as part of selling or transferring my business.

6. International Transfers

I work with clients and service providers in different countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside your home country. When this happens, I take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected, for example by using providers that offer standard data protection terms.

7. How Long I Keep Your Information

I keep your information only as long as I need it:

  • Contact form messages and enquiries that do not become a project: up to 12 months
  • Client project files and messages: for the length of the project and up to 2 years after it ends, so I can support you later
  • Invoices and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually 5 to 7 years)
  • Analytics data: according to the settings of the analytics tool (usually 14 to 26 months)

When I no longer need your information, I delete it or make it anonymous.

8. How I Protect Your Information

I use reasonable technical and practical steps to keep your information safe, including a secure (SSL) Website connection, strong passwords, two-step login where available, trusted service providers and limited access to client data. No website or online service is 100% secure, but I do my best to protect your information.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you
  • Ask me to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask me to delete your information
  • Object to or limit how I use your information
  • Ask for your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (for example, for marketing emails or cookies)
  • Make a complaint to your local data protection authority

California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may ask what personal information I collect, ask me to delete it and ask me not to sell or share it. I do not sell personal information. I will not treat you differently for using your rights.

To use any of these rights, email me. I will reply within 3 days. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on your request.

10. Links to Other Websites

This Website may link to other websites, such as client websites in my portfolio, social media pages or tools I use. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

11. Children’s Privacy

This Website and my services are meant for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please contact me and I will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top. If I make important changes, I may also let you know by email or with a notice on the Website.
